By purchasing any goods or services from Airsports PG Shop you agree that you have read and accept these Terms & Conditions.
Governing Law
The contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Price Changes
All of our prices are subject to change without notice. It is rare but, on occasion, our supplier prices change without us being notified in a timely manner. If you place an order with Airsports PG Shop but we then find that our suppliers have increased their prices to us, then we will inform you of any price change, and ask you for your approval before we proceed. You will have the choice to cancel your order at this point should you not wish to proceed.
Lead Times
The lead times indicated on this website are our best guess under normal circumstances when we have physical stock of the item or it's in stock with one of our UK suppliers. On occasion our suppliers won't have the required item in stock either and it may be on back order with the manufacturer. If this is the case then there could be a delay to you receiving your order. If there is likely to be any significant deviation from the indicated lead time then we will contact you directly to make sure you accept the increased delivery time or offer a refund if the time scale does not fit with your requirements.Product Suitability & Use
Customers should be aware that paragliding is a potentially dangerous sport that can lead to serious injury or death. The use of unsuitable and/or incorrect equipment can increase this danger. Goods are supplied on the understanding that the end user has appropriate knowledge and experience of their sport, and can choose equipment suitable to their skill level. If there is any doubt in your mind as to the suitability of any equipment we supply please contact us for advice. We will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or death resulting from the use of equipment supplied.
Returns
We hope you will be fully satisfied with products ordered from us but, in the unlikely event that you are not, we will do our best to resolve the issue with you.
When ordering paragliders, harnesses or reserve parachutes then the goods will normally be inspected by you before the goods are signed over to you. Once this sign over has happened then the goods belong to you and returns are not accepted in the event of you changing your mind. If the goods become legitimately defective then the normal warranty policy for the product will be in place to resolve the issue. This may include return to the manufacturer for repair or replacement as seen fit.
When ordering helmets, instruments and other accessories for delivery to your address we can accept returns within 14 days but only if the goods are in perfect, unused, resalable condition and include all packaging and instructions that they were supplied with. If the goods are not in their original condition then we reserve the right to not accept the goods for a refund or refund only a portion of the full amount at our discretion. Faulty or defective items will be dealt with according to the products normal warranty procedure.
When items have been sent to the customer directly from one of our suppliers then any returned product may also have to be sent directly back to that supplier. If this is the case, customers will be notified of this once the return process has been started using the "Returns" link in the footer of the online shop.
It is the customers responsibility to get the returned products to us or our suppliers either in person or via post/courier at their expense. Postal insurance is recommended for the full value of the goods when returning items to
Holidays
Suitable weather for paragliding can never be guaranteed anywhere in the world and guided or instructional trips and holidays do not guarantee any flying whatsoever. The locations and time of year for any trips offered have been carefully chosen as the destinations are known to be good for paragliding at these times, however, there can be unusual conditions or other unforeseen circumstances at any time of year that make paragliding dangerous or impossible. Safety is paramount on any of our trips and Airsports PG Shop are not responsible for any adverse weather conditions encountered or any other unforeseen circumstances that may stop customers from achieving their goals.
We have a good record of suitable conditions on our trips but customers should be comfortable with the risk of bad weather if booking on a trip with us. If you are not comfortable with the chance of unfavourable weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances then please do not book on a trip with us.
We hope that trips will be successful and that everyone gets plenty of airtime but this is not and cannot be guaranteed and there will be no refunds for bad weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances if they should occur during part or all of any trip. The trips and holidays include training between the specified dates only and any non-flyable days cannot be transferred to training in the UK.
As any paraglider pilot or student will be aware, there is an element of risk associated with paragliding and accidents can happen that can potentially cause injury or even death. Customers should be aware that, on foreign paragliding trips, emergency services such as ambulances and hospitals may not always be of the same standard that are available to us in the UK and air ambulances (helicopters) are not always available at all. Customers should be aware of and accept this increased risk and be comfortable with it before booking on a trip with us. If in doubt then please ask us for further information.
All instructors have emergency first aid training as required by the BHPA and will do the best they can in any given emergency. There is however no substitute for expert professional medical care.
NOTE: If you pull out of a trip it leaves us in a difficult position and we may not be able to fill your place in time meaning we lose money and the trip could become non-viable for us. The down payment is therefore a non refundable commitment from you for the particular trip you book. It reserves your space and is not transferable by you to another person or another trip.
The down payment will be returned to you if we have to cancel the trip from our side for any reason or if we cannot go on the trip for some other unforeseen reason. (e.g. Covid). Please only book if you intent to come on the trip.
